Why Jude’s Epistle Is a Timeless Treasure

Exploring the Depth of Jude

The Book of Jude is often an overlooked gem in the New Testament. Have you ever heard a sermon series on the Book of Jude? It’s not that common.

A Short but Powerful Epistle

This neglect is likely due to its brevity. The Book of Jude is incredibly rich in doctrine, making it an excellent starting point for deep biblical study. Its poetic flow, regardless of the translation, adds to its unique charm.

One of my favorite parts of Jude is the Doxology in the last two verses:

“Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy, to the only God, our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen” (Jude 1:24-25, ESV).

Uncovering Rich Doctrinal Truths

This short epistle is packed with profound doctrinal truths that are both inspiring and instructive. Revisiting the Book of Jude can provide fresh insights and a deeper understanding of our faith.
