About Me

I live in Whitehorse, Canada, where I serve as Lead Pastor with Mountainview Church. I also provide consulting services and am available for speaking opportunities. Beyond my pastoral role, I’m a published author with Ambassador International.

My career hasn’t followed a straight path. I’ve worked in both business and ministry, and I believe God has used both experiences to shape my leadership. My mission is simple: to help people and churches embrace their calling and move forward with purpose.

If you’re part of a small church or ministry struggling to grow and reach your community, let’s connect. I offer affordable training, workshops, and speaking engagements to help your team move forward. You’ll find various options listed under the Speaking menu.

Beyond Ministry

When I’m not writing, preaching, or leading, you’ll probably find me outdoors. I live a subsistence lifestyle; hunting, fishing, and making sure every part of the harvest is used. (Yes, even bear meat!)

I’m also a fan of podcasts, audiobooks, and all things Apple. I enjoy video editing now and then, mostly for family projects and social media. While I’m no musician, I can strum a few chords and sing when the mood strikes. And of course, coffee is always within arm’s reach. Whether it’s a handcrafted latte or a gas station cup of joe.

My Greatest Calling

I believe biblical leadership starts at home. My wife, Nicole, and our three boys—Jude, Luke, and Mark—are my greatest ministry. We love spending time outdoors together, hiking, camping, and exploring God’s creation.

We also capture and share some of our Yukon and Alaskan adventures on The Yukon Boys YouTube channel! It’s a fun way to document our experiences and invite others into our outdoor lifestyle. If you enjoy fishing, hunting, and life in the North, check it out.

At the same time, we value rest. Some of our best moments happen when we’re curled up on the couch for a family movie night, popcorn in hand. Life is full, but we strive to keep our priorities in order.

“As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” (Joshua 24:15, ESV)
