Homeschool & Christian School

Biblical Instruction for Your Co-op or Classroom

I personally understand the sacrifice parents make when choosing a home education or Christian school journey for their children. Moreover, I am passionate about reaching and teaching the next generation to follow Jesus.

Please consider including one of the following courses for your homeschool co-op or Christian school program. All courses can be adjusted to fit your desired grade or maturity level.

1. The Bible: The Greatest Book

Full-Day of Instruction or 3 Individual Lessons

Learn why the Bible is the most significant book in history. Why is it the most printed and most sold, to the point it’s excluded from the best-sellers list? Students will learn why the Bible can be trusted, how it leads to the Christian life as the most fruitful life, and how it can be a source of guidance in daily life.

Core Project: Independent study on a Minor Prophet or New Testament Epistle.

2. Romans: Outreach & Evangelism

Full-Day of Instruction or 3 Individual Lessons

Using sections of Paul’s letter to the Romans as a foundation, students will learn the importance of outreach and evangelism within the Christian faith. Learn how to reach people through serving. Find out what it means to have “beautiful feet” and how to use the “Romans Road” to share the Gospel.

Core Project: Creative piece (painting, sculpture, poem, etc.) based on a component of the course.

3. Leaders Are Everywhere

Full-Day of Instruction or 4 Individual Lessons

Study four Biblical leaders with very different personalities and leadership styles within four leaders who also had notable weaknesses. Nevertheless, God used them to have a great influence on the world. Each student will learn to lead by embracing their own personality, leadership style, and weaknesses.

Core Project: Essay titled “How God Might Use My Personality and Spiritual Gifts In the Future“.

4. Disciple-Making 101

Full-Day of Instruction or 4 Individual Lessons

Christianity is centred around discipleship, but what should true disciples of Jesus look like? And what does it mean to make disciples in a modern Western church context? Students will learn the Biblical foundation of Christianity and how to become disciple-makers within their generation.

Core Project: Essay titled “The Life of a Disciple-Maker”.

5. Dollars & Sense

2 Full Days of Instruction or 6 Individual Lessons

There’s a distinction between the word “sense” and “cents.” And there’s an important difference between common sense and good sense. Students will learn Biblical principles related to finances, and how to appreciate and use the gifts of money and possessions that God has given them.

Core Project: Create a personal budget based on Biblical principles learned in the course.

6. Ordinary People, Radical Joy

3 Full Days of Instruction or 12 Individual Lessons

Joy, even in times of suffering, has been a mark of Christians throughout the centuries. The concept of joy is mentioned more in the Book of Philippians than in any other New Testament writing. Students will learn that with Jesus, ordinary people can experience radical joy in all seasons of life.

Core Project: Creative piece (painting, sculpture, poem, etc.) displaying Christian Joy.

7. Mark: Gospel of Conflict

3 Full Days of Instruction or 12 Individual Lessons

It’s the First Century, early 60s AD. Beginning in Judea, a new faith called “The Way” based on the teachings of an outlaw Rabbi named Jesus is sweeping the Roman Empire. A disciple named John Mark has put together the details. They are retold everywhere, becoming the first Gospel account.

Core Project: Essay on one of the internal or external conflicts with Jesus as told in Mark’s Gospel.

8. Following Moses, Finding Jesus

4 Full Days of Instruction or 18 Individual Lessons

Students will learn how the Exodus account of the Hebrew people foreshadows the greater Gospel story. Reading through and expanding on large sections of Scripture, the unique pointers from Moses to Jesus will be uncovered and explored.

Core Project: Independent study of Egyptian culture during the time of Hebrew slavery.
