Deciding to Stay or Leave Is Always a Matter of Faith
I’ve been reminiscing.
I’ve been reminiscing about my youth pastor days, back in Alaska. I remember one particular night that was a bitter-sweet event for the students in our youth group. We travelled into Anchorage for a farewell show for a band, called “Saturday Sleeper“, which they have been following for the past couple of years.
Needless to say, the band put on an amazing show and the students had a blast! However, as a Youth Pastor, it was tough to see them go. Saturday Sleeper was a solid group of role models for our students. The band was led by Aaron Gray, who at the time was the Worship Pastor for Anchorage City Church. He had decided to move to Seattle to further his ministry career, so the band’s time together was coming to a close.
Deciding to stay or leave is tough.
Following the concert, Aaron created a video blog explaining his shift in ministry. See below, the vlog from Pastor Aaron on faith and his move to Seattle.
